Grinders: Size and Material
A 2-piece grinder is simple and portable; a 4-piece with a kief catcher gives you more control and a bonus at the bottom. Aluminum grinders are durable and grind consistently; if you’re grinding often, it’s worth spending a bit more for sharper teeth that won’t dull quickly.
Bongs: Think About How You’ll Actually Use It
Smaller bongs are easier to clean and more forgiving if you’re still getting a feel for things. Percolators add smoother filtration but also add more surfaces to clean. If portability matters to you, look for something compact with a sturdy base — nobody wants a tip-over.
